The stories and interviews for this series come from Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Subjects include ranching and cowboying, life in an Arizona border town, pastoral life in Hispanic mountain villages of fifty years ago, artists and writers of Santa Fe and Taos, drug trafficking, and more. These writings were developed in workshops in New Mexico (Santa Fe, Taos, Santa Cruz, and the Pueblo of Pojoaque) and Texas (Channing).
